The Cardinal District Cub Scout Day Camp has been scheduled for the week of June 20th - 24th at Deep Run Park. This is a day only camp that begins at 8:30 and ends at 4:30 (end time is 1:00 on Friday - to be confirmed). It is an awesome opportunity for scouts to experience many activities and have a ton of fun. Additionally, there will be opportunities to complete requirements for rank badges.
The Cardinal District staff is finalizing details and more information, including registration and cost, will be provided as it becomes available.
IMPORTANT: In order for scouts from Pack 788 to participate in Day Camp, we need a parent to volunteer as our Day Camp Coordinator. Without a coordinator, our scouts can not register. Please contact Tom Tyler (tr.tyler@ymail.com) if you are willing to be our coordinator. The responsibilities of the coordinator are easy and only last for a short period of time. Please consider this opportunity to help in offering our scouts the best Cub Scout experience possible.

Uniforms: Make sure that your scout has and wears a complete uniform (hat, uniform shirt, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, official belt), referred to the Class A uniform. We ask that Scouts wear either the official dark blue Cub Scout pants or shorts OR some other dark blue shorts or pants—blue jeans would be acceptable. Scouts should arrive at pack/den meetings in complete uniform with their shirts tucked in and looking neat. Please NO shoes with wheels at den or pack events!
Our Class B T-shirts are acceptable for hikes, camping, and other events as directed by Leadership – NOT FOR DEN MEETINGS. Each Scout will get a Class B T-Shirt as part of the Pack Activity Fee. We have depleted our inventory and will collect scout's size up until Oct 10th (deadline for the next T-Shirt Order). The T-Shirts are also available for leaders, parents and other scout supporters for $18, pre-orders only (October 10th deadline).
Leadership understands that obtaining; preparing the Class A uniform or new Class B T-Shirts will take some time so we will delay this rule until November events. However, if you have either available please wear at the upcoming events.
