This is a very important period of time for this scouting year.Under the den leaders and your supervision your scout has been completing activities, tasks and partaking in fun activities while trying to complete their rank advancement requirements (badges).NOW is the time to make a strong effort to finish up the rank advancements before the Blue & Gold Banquet on March 20, 2015.This requires communication and working with your den leader in order to properly reflect your son’s accomplishments in our tracking system.As a den leader this is the most difficult task, one that is made easier with the parents’ assistance.
Good evening Pack 788 families. There are a few brief announcements for you and your scouts for the upcoming weeks.
There will be no den or pack meetings until Monday, April 17th. The church is hosting Caritas this Monday, and then the following Monday is Spring Break for Henrico County Schools.
Introducing the 2013 Camp Card! The Heart of Virginia Council, BSA is pleased to announce the “Camp Card.” This initiative is designed to help Scouts earn their way to summer camp or day camp.
Thank you to our parents that joined our information session on August 31st. We will hold another session next week on September 9th. An email with the zoom link will come next week.
An important part of the pack meeting is formal recognition given to the Cub Scouts who have earned badges, arrow points, belt loops & pins, religious emblems, Pine Wood Derby or other awards. Please join us at the Pack Meeting, Monday, February 23rd at 6:15pm in the Worship Area at Christ Church.
Our Scouts have worked and competed hard to earn these awards. We have boxes and boxes of awards to present …… don’t miss this Pack Meeting!
